A followup to some recent newsletters.

Yep, covid again

Younger they are. And dying faster than the elders did.

Much of this is preventable.

Take a look at the top 23 now. This was from yesterday, July 13. The percentages came from NY Times covid pages. I’m not liking the big state results in CA, NY, IL and yikes, GA, FL. Of the big states, TX is an outlier… for now.

But crikey, look at Tennessee!

There’s no easy way to explain how Tennessee officials are responding to this. First look at their current vaccination rates. Way too low for everyone under 65.

And here’s the official response. Stop vaccinating the kids.

I’m not at all surprised. I flew in there last fall at the peak of the pandemic and more than half the people refused to wear masks. This is an unnecessary tragedy unfolding.

If you don’t live there, it’s just best to stay away. I have several friends living there. Please save yourselves and move to a state with nicer, smarter people.
