I have more to speak of today but I’m deeply disturbed by the events of last night. I hope Ukraine can continue as Ukraine, not as a slave to Putin.

As I noted before, war itself is a crime against humanity and every aggressor who begins a war is a criminal. But the ICC is toothless against them. And even our justice system has difficulty stopping deadly crimes of the very wealthy.

I encourage everyone not to give up hope, though, as that’s an essential source of energy in a modern society, too.
