Already Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson, Mike Pompeo, Newt Gingrich, and Vladimir’s favorite American oligarch-mobster, DJ Trump, have tossed in with their favorite 5’ 5” Russian lawn jockey.
People are dying but this is a game to these immoral ghouls.
AP: “MOSCOW (AP) — Russian troops launched their anticipated attack on Ukraine on Thursday, as President Vladimir Putin cast aside international condemnation and sanctions, warning other countries that any attempt to interfere would lead to “consequences you have never seen.”
Big explosions were heard before dawn in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa as world leaders decried the start of an Russian invasion that could cause massive casualties and topple Ukraine’s democratically elected government.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced martial law, saying Russia has targeted Ukraine’s military infrastructure and explosions are heard across the country. Zelenskyy said he had just talked to President Joe Biden and the U.S. was rallying international support for Ukraine. He urged Ukrainians to stay home and not to panic.”

The Russian military said it has struck Ukrainian air bases and other military assets and hasn’t targeted populated areas. The Russian Defense Ministry statement said the military is using precision weapons to target Ukrainian air bases, air defense assets and other military infrastructure. It claimed that “there is no threat to civilian population.”
Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister, said on Facebook that the Russian military has launched missile strikes on Ukrainian military command facilities, air bases and military depots in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro.

Beginning Feb 21st was apparently symbolic for Putin, as it was the anniversary of the day Ukrainians drove their last Russian puppet ruler into exile 8 years ago, but today it becomes clear this is not about the two separatist regions. Putin wants 100% of Ukraine. He wants the entire USSR back together again.
He already has virtual control over Belarus and the allegiance of a despot in Kazakhstan. So once he takes Ukraine, who’s next?
Moldova can’t stop him. Anyone placing bets on Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia?
Putin’s already rattling his nuclear saber which, of course, he knows he can’t use. And he doesn’t have to. His conventional weaponry already exceeds what NATO could bring, though NATO is merely an observer to this war unless he crosses that old Soviet line. The rattle is intended only to provoke fear, to maintain the US isolationism that arose in the wake of the Middle East wars begun in 2003 by GW Bush. Most Americans want no part of this fight, but most Americans didn’t want to attack Iraq in 2003 either. What the majority wants is as irrelevant now as it was then because obscenely wealthy and corrupt men make the decisions and they’re gonna continue to play deadly games with tens of millions of lives, at least.
DJ Trump withheld vital military aid to Ukraine trying to damage his political opponent, Joe Biden. Nobody believes he’d ever counter Putin in any way. Yet he and his minions will claim Biden’s responsible for everything Putin does into infinity and beyond.
The Oathkeepers, the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters, the Lost Causers, the Nazis and Q-Anon will all be MIA in this fight. Anything more than a few hundred building police poorly armed with nightsticks and pepper spray is too much for those gangs so all those cowards will disappear or they’ll traitor their way to the side of The World’s Tiniest Madman.

A war anywhere is a crime against all of humanity. Silence and neutrality are options but they’ve yet to stop a madman. What Putin has done is not civil adult behavior. We only normalize it if we remain silent.
Make a noise so loud that every Russian citizen can hear our rejection of their Tiny Tyrant. A noise that will remind Ukrainians that we stand for something: the right of citizens everywhere to live without state sponsored violence.
The US has plenty of examples of leaders who failed to meet that standard. Which only increases the urgency that we must end all war. That will need your noise, your voice, your persistence. It’s gotta be louder than the paid trolls on social media and the paid remora on the fake tv news teams.
Think inside, outside and between the box. There’s no time to waste. Humanity needs you, needs us. And doesn’t need military analysts telling us how to wipe our bums.
We don’t need deadlier force. We’ve tried that. We need superior wisdom and louder voices. We need every citizen everywhere granted the right to a full life. Don’t let that little man thwart you.
