Thanks for this Family, now and then ~ part 2
Here’s a better pic of my niece, Liz, and her fiance Matt. They also parent two enormous woofy dogs.
Liz also is mother to Cal and has always been as sweet as one can be.
Jules, a music student in college and one of Bill & Sharon’s granddaughters, Angela. Angela’s just starting her career as a biotech scientist.
My younger sister, Maggie, a Company Controller with a long history of accounting, and Katie, who’s finishing high school.
Sister Barbara, the long haul trucker, every ready with a helping hand. She was the baby of my birth family, the last of the Boomers.
When photographers start annoying everyone, interrupting the football.
Sharon & Bill’s oldest, Maureen, is in management at a grocery delivery service and also volunteers at the food pantry. Her husband, Kevin, is a service manager at an auto repair shop and is pretty handy with a wrench, as well.
The day before Thanksgiving, she got hit with covid so they couldn’t attend. But thankfully, she recovered quickly.
They’ve raised 4 daughters. Rachel graduated last summer and has begun her teaching career. Allison, their eldest, has worked as a museum curator and in management at a high end restaurant. They had other turkey day commitments, so only Angela and Jessie could join in.
After the meal, there was a simple dice game ‘Right, Left, Center’ that most in the group could play, followed by more group pictures after all the pie.
Mark, two of his grandkids and the back of Bill's sister, Bonnie.
Mark and some hobo who wandered in.
Now where’s the bigger group photos?
Wait, that can’t be right.
Bill and my four siblings. Hmmm, still incomplete.
There we are!
Just a little more to go, so there has to be Part 3. (Bored yet?)
Take me to Part 3.
