With all the pretend governmenting going on, is it time for a revolution?

Mediaite has part of the story:

The 70-page complaint filed in New York Supreme Court also alleges Giuliani made vulgar remarks during “alcohol-drenched rants” maligning “‘freakin Arabs’ and Jews.” Giuliani allegedly insulted Jewish men and “implied that their penises were inferior due to ‘natural selection.’”
He also attacked the Jewish holiday of Passover, saying, “Jews want to go through their freaking Passover all the time, man oh man.” Giuliani is also quoted in the complaint saying Jews should “Get over the Passover. It was like 3,000 years ago. The Red Sea parted, big deal. It’s not the first time that happened.”
The complaint also alleged Giuliani told Dunphy that “black guys hit women more than anybody else does… and so do Hispanic guys – it is in their culture.”
Noelle Dunphy alleged she was hired with a promise of a million+ in salary that Rudy reneged on. He’s been loud in his denials and has no choice but to fight these allegations, since her lawyer filed a major $10m lawsuit against him.
What Mediaite failed to report is she claims to have numerous recordings of him saying these things and more.
It wouldn’t be the first time Rudy’s appeared to be a creeper while being recorded.
He used to be called ‘America’s Mayor’. It appears he’ll be remembered longer as ‘that horny old drunk Trump hired to be his butt plug.
(I make no assumptions about the accuracy of Dunphy’s claims but Giuliani does have a history - like Trump - of cheating on all his wives. And lying about everything.)
I certainly hope Twitter’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, has a better contract working for another wealthy shady guy.

In Fairfax, VA, a guy wielding a metal bat headed into the district office of Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and proceeded to wreak havoc, bashing computers, windows and more while sending two staffers to the hospital.
He “struck one senior aide in the head” and also “hit an intern — on her first day on the job — on the side with the bat.”
Say it with me: “this is not normal. This is more of the violence being instigated by right wing terrorists like Donald Trump. We cannot ever let it become the norm.”

In Atlanta where police killed a protester trying to thwart the city’s plan to build a police training facility in an urban forest last winter, a public hearing was held yesterday. The line of people wound throughout city hall including several flights of stairs and outside around the building.
It’s the first public hearing on the controversial project. And in more than 7 hours of testimony, not a single city resident out of the 200+ who spokes were in favor of the facility.
And yes, some city council members still are pushing to get it built.
Speaking about regular citizens testifying about bad policy decisions, near Chattanooga Tennessee, many folks spoke up against the book banning there by a sketchy group called Moms For Liberty, in this ‘must-hear’ video.
Let’s be clear what Ron DeSantis is doing. He’s raising the cost of food and housing for Florida residents. And when they complain, he’ll say it’s caused by inflation that Biden’s responsible for. And also caused by Mickey Mouse, gay librarians and probably them damn Yankees & revenooers and George Soros.
A newly-signed bill by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that sharply cracks down on the ability of immigrants to work is setting off alarm bells in the state's agriculture industry which relies heavily on immigrant labor, reported Scripps News West Palm on Monday.
"From farming to construction, the law is expected to have a wide-ranging impact on a number of industries vital to Florida's economy," said the report. "Some farm workers are already too scared to go to work and are considering leaving the state, which could cause a huge staffing crisis for Florida agriculture."
Meanwhile, back in the Senate, Dianne Feinstein is there or maybe not. I’ve said before there needs to be an age limit to serve in the Senate. It looks like Feinstein is going through the motions, doing what an aide tells her to do.
But she’s no longer competent. And her constituents deserve better. Currently the largest populated state in the country is only being represented by one Senator.
Others may treat it as a joke but if we can’t have a functioning roughly representative government, it’s time for anarchy and revolution.
Wyoming has two Senators for its 577,000 residents. But California has only one for its 39.5 million citizens. Washington DC has nearly 690,000 residents - more than Wyoming, more than Vermont - and they don’t even get one senator. Because they’re too Black.
Anarchy and revolution should be easy enough. Consider the old joke:
”A drunk walked into the home of the US National Security Adviser at 3 a.m. The Adviser said “Hey WTF are you doing here?”
The drunk replied: “Don’t blame me. Ask those Secret Service guys outside.”
And he did.
Because the Secret Service now only works for Republicans who bought them.
The only thing surprising about this is that a McDonalds offered a high school student a $40K job as a manager. A really, really uninformed and ignorant high schooler.
There’s my breaking point. Many folks quit Mickey Dees years ago but now even I refuse to tolerate that insult to everyone rational who worked and studied much, much harder for much less.
