Women can't have equal rights, Black people can be completely banned from schoolbooks and anarchy supersedes the Constitution now
Now the opposing decisions will go to the SCOTUS Gang of Five who’ll rule in favor of keeping women barefoot and pregnant and silent. Just relax and enjoy it.

REMEMBER: IT’S TIME TO PASS THE ERA.
Barack Obama on the racist Tennessee legislature’s expulsion of two Black representatives: “What happened in Tennessee is the latest example of a broader erosion of civility and democratic norms. Silencing those who disagree with us is a sign of weakness, not strength, and it won’t lead to progress.”
From the Daily Beast, the words of two of the Dem legislators under fire:
Asked why her two colleagues had been expelled while she had not, Johnson was blunt: “I think it’s pretty clear. I’m a 60-year-old white woman, and they are two young Black men. In listening to the questions and the way they were questioned and the way they were talked to, I was talked down to as a woman, mansplained to, but it was completely different from the questioning that they got.”
As Pearson departed the Tennessee house chambers, the words he had for the Republicans who undemocratically ousted him carried the weight of the American experience. “We, and you, are seeking to expel District 86th’s representation from this House in a country that was built on a protest,” he said. “In a country that was built on a protest. You, who celebrate July 4, 1776, pop fireworks and eat hot dogs, you say to protest is wrong, because you spoke out of turn.
“Because you spoke up for people who are marginalized,” he added. “You spoke up for children who won’t ever be able to speak again. You spoke up for parents who don’t want to live in fear, you spoke up for Larry Thorn, who was murdered by gun violence. You spoke up for people that we don’t want to care about. In a country built on people who speak out of turn, who spoke out of turn, who fought out of turn to build a nation.”
This is the equivalent of banning a book by Fred Rogers. Can any Black author get a book read in school or are politicians and activists only approving books by white authors?
Don’t tell me. Let me guess.
Regarding the Texas judge trying to make the abortion pill Mifepristone illegal in all 50 states:
In his confirmation hearing, Kacsmaryk was asked whether judges ever apply their religious beliefs when ruling on a case.
“They should not,” he told Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).
“Do you believe they do?” Blumenthal asked.
“I can’t recall an instance when I observed a judge imposing their religion,” Kacsmaryk said. “But I will say for the record that it is inappropriate for an Article III judge to do so.”
He has since on multiple occasions done that ‘inappropriate thing.’
By the time Kacsmaryk sat for his Senate confirmation hearing in 2017, the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee had learned about many of his socially conservative convictions. One by one, the senators quizzed Kacsmaryk on the commentary and legal briefs he’d signed in recent years.
Recognizing same-sex marriage will send the country “on a road to potential tyranny.”
The push for “so-called marriage equality” has been a “complete abuse of rule of law principles.”
The sexual revolution ushered in a world where an individual is “an autonomous blob of Silly Putty unconstrained by nature or biology” and where “marriage, sexuality, gender identity and even the unborn child must yield to the erotic desires of liberated adults.”
In a crisp navy blue suit, Kacsmaryk addressed each quote in a calm, measured voice. During the hearing and in his written responses to senator’s questions, he stressed that he could preside fairly over any matter, regardless of his past statements.
He lied. In fact, his anti-gay, anti-transgender, anti-gay marriage, anti-contraception beliefs keep showing up in his decisions, one of which was overturned by the SCOTUS.
He’s a Federalist Society judge that claims to be guided by textual originalism but in his abortion pill ruling, he created laws and rules in his decision that don’t even exist!
Seriously. Read Mark Stern’s detail of his invented laws. The plaintiffs in the case have no legal standing to challenge the FDA approval of the pill, no judge has ever claimed the right to challenge an approval beyond a 6 year window and this drug was approved 23 years ago. That’s just a couple of points, so really, do read that article.
His extremist religious views intrude on the choices of people to love and to have sex, to define themselves and to make medical decisions that men have unavailable to women.
It’s a pretty shady faith he has that permits him to lie (in his mind, he clearly believes that). He believes it’s his role to prevent 330 million Americans from their wish to be liberated adults with erotic desires. (“marriage, sexuality, gender identity and even the unborn child must yield to the erotic desires of liberated adults.”)
Gee, thanks Judge K.
When this case gets reviewed by the SCOTUS, we’ll find out if any laws in this country need to be heeded at all. Keep your fingers crossed because the most activist judges in US history might destroy our democratic republic completely.
Hyperbole? Not one word of my warning is.
For those who celebrate it, Happy Easter! because bunnies have more rights to act as biological beings than US citizens do.
