I have said I knew Ru Paul slightly back when he had a band called WeeWee Pole: calling it “genderfuck rock”..and kissed his hand the night he and his entourage did a total drag show at ATL’s Club 688, when I had “decorated” the club with enormous banners and black plastic for my buddy Chuck’s band “Lûbetöol”…
